Terms of Service
Operator and service
Unbubble is operated by Scalar Pty Ltd (we, us or our). These terms describe membership, payments, member interactions, safety controls and deletion on Unbubble.
Unbubble currently operates by invitation. An invitation does not itself grant access to every feature. Features depend on account eligibility, profile completion, visibility choices, consent and the relevant membership permissions. Features marked unavailable are not included as available services in a membership purchase. Facebook linking, when available in your account, verifies control of a Facebook account. It does not verify real-world identity, account age or friend count.
Astrological and profile compatibility indicators assist discovery. They do not guarantee a successful relationship. This explanation does not limit your statutory consumer rights.
For support, refund requests, complaints, moderation appeals or deletion problems, contact support@unbubble.cc.
Membership and account security
Membership is for adults aged 18 or older. Complete the required registration and email verification steps and provide accurate account information. Keep your password and account access secure. Email verification establishes access to an email address; it does not establish a person's identity.
Discovery requires an admitted, email-verified and profile-complete account and your choice to participate. Your profile information has separate visibility settings. Private information is not made available to other members merely because they have purchased membership. Close Match Visible access depends on the applicable access checks; unavailable matching information does not satisfy those checks.
Purchased membership provides implemented contact interaction, messaging and media features, subject to eligibility, consent, privacy and safety controls. Current free membership remains available separately from purchased membership. Paying does not entitle you to another member's attention, private information, acceptance of a request or a connection.
A free member cannot initiate contact with a member who has purchased or earned the relevant interaction access. An eligible member with that access can initiate contact with free or eligible members through the ordinary controls. A successful initiation to a free member can permit that person to reply to the initiating member. This permission does not grant general access to other people or to media. It depends on the initiating member's current interaction eligibility and can be revoked. Expiry suspends the permission; renewed eligibility does not revive a permission that was explicitly revoked or restore withdrawn consent.
Payments and renewal
Paid membership is purchased through Stripe Checkout. The currently deployed prices are AUD 5.00 per month or AUD 36.00 per year, including GST. Check the plan, total price and billing interval displayed before confirming a purchase. Subscription payments renew at the selected interval unless cancelled. Your billing information distinguishes purchased access, earned referral reward dates and the next scheduled charge, where applicable.
Referral reward access is separate from a purchase. Earned rewards include the implemented interaction features, subject to the same safety and consent controls. Promotional access does not establish purchased membership, fund fee-bearing identity verification or itself create a cash commission. Ordinary cancellation preserves already earned reward dates.
The separate referral commission ledger records 20% of eligible gross subscription payments, including GST, when both the inviter and referred member have genuine purchased membership at the payment time. Promotional access does not qualify. Commissions are prospective from the programme’s recorded activation boundary; earlier payments are not backdated. Refunds and disputes can reduce balances through recorded adjustments. Bank withdrawals currently await operator setup, and card withdrawals are unavailable. A recorded balance is not confirmation that a payout has occurred. When verified bank withdrawals become available, the minimum is AUD 24. Scalar Pty Ltd pays any payout fees, including any fee a payout provider charges us, so no fee is deducted from your withdrawal and you receive the full amount you request. For example, an AUD 24 withdrawal debits AUD 24 from your commission balance and sends AUD 24 to your bank account. Before you confirm, the amount requested, a member fee of AUD 0 and the full amount sent are shown. Withdrawals already recorded keep their recorded amounts.
A failed renewal does not add a grace period. Existing funded access lasts until its recorded expiry, after which the account returns to free access unless other valid funding or earned rewards apply. A confirmed payment can restore the relevant access. Membership expiry does not itself delete account data, saved results or completed verification evidence that remains valid.
Cancellation and refunds
Use the cancellation or subscription management controls in your account's billing area to stop renewal. Ordinary cancellation takes effect at the end of the applicable access period. Check the confirmation and cancellation date shown in billing. Cancelling renewal does not itself delete your account or automatically refund a payment.
Unbubble does not automatically refund payments for a change of mind. Erroneous charges are reviewed for refund. This policy does not limit any refund, cancellation, compensation or other remedy required by law.
A confirmed full refund removes access funded by that purchase and stops that subscription's future renewal, while preserving other valid purchased periods and earned reward dates. Refunding one erroneous duplicate charge preserves the valid remaining funding and its renewal. A partial refund, or a refund that is pending, failed or cancelled, does not itself reduce access or change renewal or expiry.
An open formal payment dispute or a confirmed loss excludes the affected payment from funding access; it does not itself ban the account or remove unrelated valid funding. A won, prevented or otherwise resolved non-loss dispute can restore the original remaining eligibility, provided the account still exists, that funding has not been fully refunded and no blocking dispute remains. It does not create extra paid days or restore a deleted account.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified, including under the Australian Consumer Law. Applicable consumer guarantees include due care and skill, fitness for a disclosed purpose and supply within a reasonable time. Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to remedies including correction of a service problem, cancellation, a refund or compensation. These rights apply despite the change-of-mind policy and despite any technical treatment of access, refunds, disputes or deletion described here.
Conduct
Treat other members respectfully and honour their privacy and consent choices. Do not use Unbubble to threaten, harass, impersonate or deceive others; distribute unlawful content; infringe another person's rights; send spam; obtain or disclose private information without authority; or circumvent blocks, restrictions or security controls. Upload or send only content you have the right to share. Do not use a new account or another person's account to evade a restriction.
Content and visibility
You retain any rights you hold in content you provide. You give Scalar Pty Ltd permission to store, process and display that content as needed to operate the features you use, apply your visibility and consent choices, provide safety controls and carry out deletion. This permission is limited to those purposes and the retention described in our privacy notice at /privacy. It does not transfer ownership, introduce advertising use or create a perpetual unrestricted licence. Permitted retained shared records remain subject to those rules and do not transfer ownership to Unbubble.
A connection, purchase or permission for one purpose does not grant permission for every purpose. You can withdraw the available visibility grants and end connections. Declining a request prevents further requests for that purpose until you explicitly reopen it. Your saved users remain private.
You can delete uploaded media through the available deletion control. Removing content from Unbubble cannot remove copies someone has independently saved outside the service. Account deletion has the additional effects described below.
Safety and moderation
You can block another member. An ordinary unblock removes your own block but does not restore past connections, grants or communication permissions, or remove the other person's restrictions.
The confirmed block-and-report action creates a moderation case and permanently separates the two accounts within Unbubble. Resolving the case does not remove that separation. Read the confirmation before using this action.
Authorised administrators can review moderation cases and restrict, temporarily suspend or permanently terminate accounts for breaches of these terms or safety reasons. We give notice and reasons where safe. You can appeal through support@unbubble.cc. A different administrator reviews an appeal where practical; a separate reviewer may not always be available. An appeal does not restore withdrawn consent or override another member’s block, and block-and-report separation remains in place.
A restriction, temporary suspension or permanent termination requests a stop to subscription renewal and freezes unused purchased time. Ending the restriction or reinstating the account restores that time; it does not automatically restart renewal. Renewal stopping runs through the payment provider and may remain pending for administrator resolution; check its status in billing. If you restart renewal while restored purchased time remains, we ask the payment provider to schedule the next charge after that time. This request is processed separately and may not take effect immediately. If a renewal is charged before rescheduling takes effect, the newly purchased period is added after your restored time rather than running at the same time. On permanent operator termination, we refund unused purchased access proportionately. Unused time is the unconsumed part of each valid funded period at restriction, suspension or termination, including valid future funded periods. A restriction or temporary suspension freezes that time until it ends. A proportional refund uses the amount paid for the valid period multiplied by its unused share, rounded down to a whole cent and capped by the remaining refundable charge. If a dispute has been lost on part of a charge, any refund for the remainder of that charge is held for administrator review rather than issued automatically. We audit these transitions and amounts. Payment does not override safety restrictions, and statutory remedies remain available regardless of this calculation. Other valid funding remains separately eligible. Promotional days and extensions that have already been applied, or whose application is in progress, keep their calendar dates and continue to elapse during a restriction or suspension; they are not frozen or replaced. An earned extension that has not yet been applied may instead be scheduled after your restored purchased time.
Account deletion and retained records
You can request permanent account deletion through the account deletion control, with password confirmation and explicit confirmation of deletion. Deletion ends access, sessions, connections and permissions and removes the account's private data, including its birth record and current verification bindings. Related passport and calculation retirement is queued through the service's deletion handling.
Deletion does not preserve unrestricted copies of private messages. Connection-dependent or otherwise unauthorised shared records are removed. Certain previously permitted shared records may remain in redacted form, attributed to a deleted profile and subject to continuing access restrictions, only while an authorised remaining member retains them or they serve an active shared feature. They are removed when that purpose ends, as described in /privacy. Deletion cannot remove copies held independently outside Unbubble.
Account deletion immediately initiates an attempt to stop future subscription renewal. Provider failure can leave that operation pending for administrator resolution. The Stripe customer is deleted once pending billing obligations have been resolved. Account deletion is not confirmation that a provider cancellation or refund has completed; use ordinary cancellation first if you want confirmation of renewal stopping before deleting the account.
Necessary invoice, charge, refund, dispute and associated operation records and identifiers are retained for seven calendar years after the covered transactions complete, with extensions for unresolved obligations or explicit audited legal holds. Account deletion does not restart that period. Expired financial details and identifiers are purged after applicable holds end. This financial retention does not extend to birth records, social profiles or verification evidence. Stripe may retain historical transactions under its own obligations.
Deletion records are used to prevent an older backup from restoring a deleted account. Deleting an account does not mean every backup or retained operational record is immediately destroyed.
Acceptance and future changes
New members explicitly accept the current Terms during registration. Existing members receive notice and are asked to accept at their next sign-in. We record the version and acceptance time. Billing, cancellation, support, export and account deletion remain accessible while acceptance is pending. Purchased access remains recorded on your account and its dates continue to elapse; accept the current Terms to continue using member features. Acceptance does not remove an account restriction or suspension. For material future changes, we notify you and obtain fresh acceptance before applying the changes.
Our privacy notice at /privacy explains collection, use, visibility, deletion and retention.
